Prior to joining the Devon Group, Amanda was Legislative Assistant to Christine Elliott, Opposition Deputy Leader and until recently, Health Critic. Her duties included policy advice, statutory and regulatory analysis and stakeholder and media engagement.
Amanda has a B.A. (hons.) in Psychology and through work with Durham Mental Health Services Amanda has immediate experience with all facets of primary health care and its determinants including education, housing, income, medication adherence and effective interdisciplinary care strategies.
Amanda is a committed volunteer with the Abilities Centre in Whitby and in the past dedicated her time to the Whitby Mental Health Centre’s SPARC Program as well as serving as an assistant coach to the Whitby Figure Skating Club.
Amanda’s enthusiasm and energy have enabled her to establish strong relationships throughout Queen’s Park and it is this passion that we are delighted to have with us in our practice.
